If you would like to speak to the nurse or doctor for non urgent advice please ring the appointments number before 10.30 am and give the details to the receptionist.
Specimen results
are received daily from the hospitals and are checked by the doctors. Generally,
you will need to see a doctor to get the result. The receptionists can advise
you if your results are back if you phone between 11.00am and 3.00pm.
For
reasons of confidentiality, we can only give test results to the person
they concern, unless we have previously received the express consent of that
person. For patients under the age of 16 normally this information will only be
given to their parents.
