Out Of Hours

In the event of an emergency outside normal surgery hours (6.00pm to 8.30am Mondays to Fridays, and at weekends and Public Holidays please telephone one of the following emergency telephone numbers:

You will be told how to contact the Primary Care Trust's ' Emergency Out of Hours Service'.  Depending on the nature of your complaint, you will be offered either telephone advice, an appointment at the emergency center or a home visit. The service operates for emergencies and urgent medical problems only.

NB in major emergencies and accidents where hospital treatment may be needed
telephone for an Ambulance ~ Dial 999

If your problem does not fall into either of these categories, but you would like medical advice you can contact NHS Direct Health.
